I go back to work on Monday I have 3 day's left of my summer vacation. I still don't have my drivers license, I hope the boss isn't mad at me for not having it yet. We will see what happens on Monday.
Olive_12 is a Freshman this year and it's TapeEar's last year of middle school. My kid's are growing up. TapeEar is very exited to be going back to school. Olive_12 is afraid of getting lost in a BIG school. But I know they both will be fine.

Well nothing has happened yet but I am waiting. I have to get them before the month is over.
I can't believe Livi's in High School already!!!
Is she getting used to things yet? I know she was worried about her locker being so far away that she might be late to some of her classes...has that worked out for her..I hope so.
Amanda will be there next year, so hopefully it will be easier on both of them.
What's going on with the drivers licenses and your boss? Anything said yet?
No but she give me those looks like "did you get it yet".
I need to go get them before the month is over, that is when my permit expires.
For some reason B keep saying "they aren't going to fire you because you don't have your licenses yet, they need you too much to fire you. Who is going to speak spanish to those who need you if they fire you"?
Rosie, she may have to let you go if it's a state law. It's better to talk to her and find out where you stand. You still have time to go get your licenses if you find out she will have to let you go.
Don't listen to Brent, there are people trying to get jobs with the schools all the time for the benefit of the schedule. And remind Brent you're not the only Spanish speaking person in Kokomo. No matter how important you are, everyone can be replaced, so it's up to you to protect your job if you want to keep it.
